Kevlar Jeans for riding are one of the best ideas since sliced bread and Draggin have been making them since '97 so it isn't surprising how good their gear is. I needed a pant that I could wear on the scooter that would allow me some freedom and possibly a bit of style.
The HJC FS-MAX helmet looks like another ‘normal’ helmet until you dig a little deeper.Then you discover that HJC have added all kinds of neat features. The front section of the helmet features a ‘flip-lid’ , which means you can actually talk to someone without having to shout through the helmet. It can be opened and locked down with ease, even with a single, gloved hand. On closing, there is a positive, loud click to confirm that it has definitely locked.
The helmet I am riding with currently is HJC’s CL-ST in solid black. This thing is pretty super really; it has a feature list as long as your arm. The noticeable and useful features are the Clearview visor… which is eerily clear… almost like you can see better than normal through it.
First off let’s get something straight, what is the single most important design aspect of a helmet…right you got it, LOOKS. Well they may not be entirely true. It seems in the modern world we’re definitely moving towards it; if we aren’t already there. Thankfully the HJC CS-12N Session is covered in the looks department as the cool grey tribal pattern actually looks pretty cool, which is saying something as I normally prefer standard boring old black.
