The lads at MaxiScoot are French (don't hold that against them) and have been around for a while supplying parts for 50cc scooters along with building some custom machinery most of which is based on the good old Italjet Dragster. This time however they really have outdone themselves... our plans for the mighty jog are suddenly looking a wee bit pedestrian. Anyway the basics are... brand new custom pretty much everything. From what I can gather from the translation software they have created a custom frame and whatnot with a ridiculous rear tyre to aid getting power to the ground for drag racing. The engine has very little of what the manufacturer put in there, it is now a twin for a start... featuring two 86cc cylinders, twin 28mm carbs, forged pistons, titanium rods... unobtanium grommets etc, etc. All this adds up to... asssuming I am reading this right (and I REALLY hope I am) 50hp @ 13,000rpm. Not to mention the fact that it looks absolutely badass! The aim (with dragster 2 Evil 1.2) is to beat their existing best time for the standing 150 meters of a shade under 6seconds. Good luck boys.
