Sym shows off prototype electric scooter.
INTERMOT saw the Taiwanese manufacturer unveil their prototype electric scooters. With soaring oil prices affecting most private transport consumers are looking for more options and Sym is providing...well hopefully soon. Based on the Mio 100. The prototype uses a brushless electric motor with the energy coming from a Lithium battery, rather than the cheaper and more commonly used sealed lead acid batteries. We believe this is a first for electric scooters. As soon as Sym start mass-production, we'll get our hands on one and test out it.
